Ik it's part of the story to meet her but if he was anyways then her last words shouldn't have been not to meet her. It's pointless and unnecessary. For anyone especially a family member I love if they say something one last time with there dying breath I'm listening instead of just "eh it should it alright" like are you fucking stupid?
